Tutorials for creators of web sites

The information presented here is stuff I found useful, but that I didn't think was obvious. It is all given from a Macintosh-centric point of view. I wouldn't dream of doing any of this on a Windows machine, although it's probably possible. I might try UNIX, but given a choice, the Mac is the way to go.

Animated GIFs, easier than scripting with Java!
Client-side image maps, easier than image maps that required cgi-bins and all that.
