Once the search results appear on-screen, simply double-click the entry and the CD brings up an electronic copy of the page containing the desired information. The page can then be printed if desired for a crisp, hard-copy reference.
Besides letting you access and print valuable information on states, territories, counties, parishes, canals, railroads and much more, the gazetteer contains geographical, historical, political and statistical information not found in other gazetteers. Of particular interest: names of all naval ships, military posts, and every post office and town listed on the 1850 U.S. Census.
